![]() The odds are always in the favor of the casino, so the more you gamble the more money ends up in their casino. They want you to gamble at their property. They are as others have said employed by the casinos. Yes they will tell you, "I want you to win". Kind of like code for degenerate gambler development. I always chuckle to myself when reading some of their cards that say stuff like, "Player development". I kept thinking if they had this in Vegas, I would play more there. Good friendly dealers, who would ask if they saw play outside BS. They did have H17 and I did not get the opportunity for surrender, but all in all a much better gamble than I expected. $10 table, 3:2, no apparent limits on splits or doubles and DAS. On another note, I played BJ at New Orleans Harrah's this week and encountered pretty good rules. He told me he is treated like a king at TI while his level of play only gets him comped rooms at best at the neighboring properties. We were playing at a $10 craps table with a guy who was important enough to them to have a host by his side constantly making sure he got exactly what he wanted. ![]() I was at TI a couple of years ago with my wife. constantly, so it does not appear to take too much. Last trip we spent one night at TI at a casino rate and played some limited slots and $15 a hand BJ (two players, so really $30 a hand) for about 3 hours and we are getting two nights comped with free tickets to events, etc. ![]()
